November Natural Beauty Favorites

1. One Love Organics Aromatic Body Serum, $39

If you were a Victoria’s Secret Beauty or a Bath + Body Works Girl in you previous, more toxic life – this one’s for you! This light + decadent mist of precious oils intensely nourishes your skin, leaving it refreshed, beautifully scented + totally soft to the touch. I have both the Neroli + the Rose, and they are delish! Separately, they’re divine, but together, they smell like orange Tic-Tacs! Nothing – and I mean nothing natural I’ve ever tried, smells quite like these. They’re packaged in totally gorg, white glass bottles + come in 4 scents – Lavender, Chamomile, Neroli + Rose. Must-have

2.  Nourish Organic Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser, $14

This gentle cleanser washes away impurities without drying, irritating or causing redness. It penetrates deep into pores to dissolve dirt, oil + makeup – Yay! It’s also packed with vitamins from cucumbers, that help to hydrate + soothe, as well as watercress, that’s rich in antioxidants + protects skin from free radical damage. USDA Organic. Fragrance-Free. Alcohol-Free. Gluten-Free. Vegan. Love!

3. May Lindstrom Skin The Problem Solver, $90

Meet my new obsession! This jet-black fusion of antioxidant-rich raw cacao, healing bamboo charcoal, soil nutrients, salts, and exotic warming spices is no joke! It’s an intense, handmade treatment masque that effectively purifies + tightens pores, extinguishes inflammations, fights + heals blemishes, jump-starts circulation in the epidermis + detoxifies skin with delightful ease + power. I love, love, love the powder-to-mousse formula! It’s so easy to mix + only activates on contact with water – so you experience full potency every time.

4. Alima Pure Natural Definition Mascara, $22

When I first saw “natural definition” I thought, oh great, another snoozer. Another barely there natural mascara that’s going to smudge + flake, you know the type. But, this one gives the others a run for their money! Here’s why. It wasn’t until recently that I realized that the ingredients were only a little over 90% natural, so that was disappointing. Must have missed that when doing my research. But while it’s not perfect, it performs just like a department store brand. It’s also way better than most – as far as ingredients go. So I say if you’re going to cheat with a makeup product – let this be it! There’s no fuss. No melting, flaking, raccoon eyes, etc. It applies evenly, wears well + creates lush lashes. The molded brush is also FAB – like the conventional ones I’ve been mouring since I made the switch-a-roo.

5. Preserve Toothbrush, $4

Preserve consulted closely with dental professionals to create a toothbrush that gets your teeth cleaner but minimizes your impact on the environment. The design includes a curved handle for those hard-to-reach places + a three-level bristle arrangement to massage your gums. And while the bristles are brand new, the handle is made from recycled yogurt cups + is completely recyclable after use. It’s also BPA free, made in the USA + very comfortable to use. I love my white one.
