Strawberry Super Seed Make-Ahead Breakfast
2 Tbsp buckwheat oats
1 Tbsp shelled hemp seeds
2 tsp chia seeds
1 tsp flaxseeds
5 Brazil nuts, roughly chopped
3/4 c. strawberries, chopped
1 Tbsp goji berries
Pinch of ground cardamon
1 cup milk of your choice (unsweetened)
In a 16-ounce lidded glass jar, combine all the ingredients. Close the jar and shake well. Place the jar in the refrigerator to chill for several hours or overnight. Before eating, shake well to evenly distribute the ingredients. Keeps for 3-4 days in the refrigerator.
Half Now, Half Later Smoothie
1 cup filtered water
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
3 Tbsp shelled hemp seeds
1 tsp sesame tahini
1/2 ripe banana (about 2.5 ounces)
In a high-powered blender, combine all the ingredients and blend until smooth. Divide the smoothie between 2 glasses or jars; enjoy 1 now and cover the other and refrigerate overnight for a morning nutrient boost (stir or shake that smoothie portion well before consuming)
