For many of us, the warmer weather in spring and summer means spending more time outdoors – including exercise! This tropical smoothie is the perfect seasonal post-workout treat to not only reenergize you, but it’s hearty dose of protein gives your muscles all the building blocks it needs to recover for your next workout.

Tropical Protein Smoothie

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring Cups and Spoons

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups frozen mango + pineapple
  • 1 cup vanilla kefir
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ½ banana fresh or frozen
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Water or ice cubes if needed

Instructions
 

  • Add all ingredients to blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Modify for texture as needed. If too thick, add water and blend to desired texture. If too thin, add ice cubes and blend again.
