Transformative Integrative Breast Cancer Care Program Supports Breast and Ovarian Cancer Patients in Delaware County
MALVERN, PA (July 15, 2025) – The Foundation for Delaware County awarded a $20,000 grant to the nonprofit organization Unite for HER to provide integrative therapies and supportive services for breast and ovarian cancer patients in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
“We are so grateful for the support of The Foundation for Delaware County to provide our integrative care to breast and ovarian cancer patients throughout Delaware County,” said Sue Weldon, founder and CEO of Unite for HER. “This grant will provide patients with access to our integrative wellness programs, where they can receive therapies like acupuncture, nutrition services, Reiki, yoga, and more, at no personal cost. We welcome patients into our community and work to educate and support their unique needs.”

Unite for HER’s integrative wellness programs began in 2009 in West Chester, PA, providing integrative therapies and supportive services to breast cancer patients in the Philadelphia region. Today, the national nonprofit supports over 10,000 breast and ovarian cancer patients annually, providing direct services at no personal cost.
