Dear Unite for HER Community,
May 4th is always a deeply meaningful day for me. This year marks 22 years cancer-free, a milestone I hold with humility and gratitude.
I often think back to that time in my life when I felt lost, unsure where to turn, and without a clear path to manage the many side effects and challenges that came with a diagnosis. That experience shaped everything that followed.
Today, I look at what we’ve built together through Unite for HER, and I am truly in awe. What began as a personal journey has grown into a community that now serves over 10,000 individuals each year, providing access to integrative therapies that can be life-changing. This impact is only possible because of you.
Our headquarters stands as more than just a building—it’s a home. A place filled with compassion, energy, and purpose. A place where members are served with integrative care, volunteers pack care boxes, where partners show up to support our mission, and where every person who walks through our doors is welcomed with open arms. This space represents growth, care, sustainability, and a future where we can continue to reach thousands more.
As we near the finish line of our capital campaign, we are so close to securing this home for years to come, ensuring that even more resources can go directly to those who need them most.
This work lives far beyond any one person. It is fueled by a shared belief that every individual deserves access to the best possible care, care that supports the whole person.
Today, I pause to reflect to thank you, marking the day. For your support, your belief in this mission, and for allowing me to share this day with you each year. It is a reminder to mark the moments that matter, to honor how far we’ve come, and to continue forward with purpose.
