The piña “no”-lada is a creamy, tropical mocktail that delivers all the vacation vibes of a piña colada, without the alcohol. With sweet pineapple and rich coconut, it’s smooth, refreshing, and perfect for sipping poolside, at gatherings, or anytime you want a little escape in a glass.

  • ½ cup full-fat coconut milk
  • ¼ cup cream of coconut
  • ½ lime zested and juiced
  • ½ ounce honey or agave
  • Dash of cinnamon

Equipment

  • Measuring cups/spoons
  • Blender
  • Cutting board
  • Chefs knife
  • Zester or microplane
  • Cocktail glass

Method

  1. Blend together all ingredients.
  2. Garnish with a lime wedge or extra chunks of frozen pineapple. Add a paper umbrella for extra flare.

Notes

  • Shopping/Cooking Tip: Look for canned full-fat coconut milk (not “coconut beverage”) for that rich, creamy texture. Shake well before using it.
  • Budget Swap: Use shelf-stable pineapple juice instead of frozen pineapple to cut costs.
  • Allergy/Intolerance Swap: For those sensitive to coconut, try blending pineapple juice with plain or vanilla Greek yogurt for a creamy texture.
  • Storage Recommendations: Best served immediately after blending. If needed, store in the fridge for up to 24 hours and re-blend or shake well before serving as separation may occur.
