The Role of Ablative Radiation in Metastatic Breast Cancer. In this time we will discuss metastatic ablation with high-dose radiation, specifically indications, techniques, and new data regarding where it may be best integrated in care of the patient with metastatic breast cancer.

Dr. Neil Taunk is an Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology and Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He completed residency training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and medical school and graduate school at Rutgers University-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His clinical interests are in breast and prostate cancer. His laboratory interests primarily lie in development of novel PET tracers and radionuclide therapies for the detection and treatment of localized and metastatic cancers. His research is funded by the NIH, RSNA, and Basser Center for BRCA.
