    More than a Hashtag

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

The power of social media has launched #GivingTuesday participation to new heights. Last year the GivingTuesday Data Commons  estimates that over 35 million adults participated in Giving Tuesday events and donated over $2.7 billion dollars in 2021!

For the patients of Unite for HER, Giving Tuesday is more than a hashtag or Facebook event; Giving Tuesday is a tool that helps us to spread awareness of our mission and invite our community to join us in support of those affected by breast and ovarian cancers by funding life-changing therapies and resources.

100 percent of funds raised through Giving Tuesday fundraisers support our Wellness Program, providing integrative therapies, resources, education, and support to more than 5,000 patients nationwide.
