Goal needed to close the FY2019-2020 fundraising gap caused by COVID-19
Give today to support the continuation of our wellness program during this crisis.
During this COVID-19 health crisis, our commitment to those we serve is unwavering. This spring we were scheduled to deliver our unique Wellness Program to 900 newly diagnosed breast and ovarian cancer patients through multiple live events. We are honored to announce a new virtual wellness experience, Unite for HER at Home (UFH at Home), that will allow us to continue to safely deliver our programming as originally planned.
Shifting to Serve
All registered spring event participants will now receive a HER care box package, as well as an invitation to experience a virtual Wellness Day in the comfort and safety of their own home without delay. Through the UFH at Home program, participants can learn about integrative therapies, meet care providers, and schedule services. Each care box contains educational resources, healing and healthy self-care products, and the hallmark of our program, a wellness passport, valid for an extended 15 months and $2,000 of integrative therapies and services.
Spring 2020 Wellness Program participants are invited to attend one of two live virtual online Wellness Days on May 31 or June 27, 2020. Please contact Nina Ritrovato, Wellness Program Manager, to learn more.
How You Can Help
Our funding has been greatly impacted by the cancellation of our spring fundraising events, and with so much uncertainty surrounding the current COVID-19 health crisis, those newly diagnosed need us more than ever. We cannot support them without your help. Will you help us to bridge this gap in funding and join us by HER side at home?
Support the continuation of our wellness program with a gift to Unite for HER. Due to the passage of the CARES Act, you will be able to deduct up to $300 in charitable donations on your 2020 taxes, even if you do not itemize them.
Nominate Unite for HER for a grant at your company. Many companies empower their employees to choose a charity to nominate for a grant they have set aside based on employees interest and personal connections. This has become such a valuable resource where our women simply just share their story on how we served them. Contact our Development Manager, Jen Morell, to learn more.
“Unite for HER encourages life and hope to women diagnosed with breast cancers at any stage. I’m so thankful they are part of my journey!”
