Give today to support the continuation of our wellness program during this crisis.
Through the Unite for HER Wellness Day program, breast cancer and ovarian cancer patients learn about the benefits of complementary therapies and create a personal plan for incorporating these fully-funded services into their treatment and recovery.
All program participants receive a HER care box package, as well as an invitation to experience a virtual Wellness Day in the comfort and safety of their own home without delay. Through the UFH at Home program, participants can learn about integrative therapies such as acupuncture, massage, Reiki, yoga, meditation, nutrition, professional counseling (including sexual health), and caregiver support, as well as meet care providers. Each care box contains educational resources, healing and healthy self-care products, and the hallmark of our program, a wellness passport.
Each passport is valid for a 12 months and worth $2,000 of integrative therapies and services from approved providers (located on our provider list) for the therapies they feel will best support their everyday health and wellness.
Shifting to Serve
During the COVID Health Crisis, a great shift occurred in how we would now deliver our mission, re-imagining our
outreach and programming to ensure the needs of those affected with cancer would be met.
With an unwavering commitment to serve, UFH delivered our integrative wellness programming to over 800 women newly diagnosed since March, all directly to the safety of their homes through a new innovative virtual wellness experience, Unite for HER at Home, allowing us to deliver the gift of joy, hope, resources, integrative therapies, education and much needed human connection.
How You Can Help
Our funding has been greatly impacted by the current health crisis, although those newly diagnosed need us more than ever. We cannot support them without your help. Will you help us to be by HER side at home?
Support the continuation of our wellness program with a gift to Unite for HER. Due to the passage of the CARES Act, you will be able to deduct up to $300 in charitable donations on your 2020 taxes, even if you do not itemize them.
“Unite for HER encourages life and hope to women diagnosed with breast cancers at any stage. I’m so thankful they are part of my journey!”
