About Our Hangout Guests
Alison Donley has been practicing and teaching yoga, meditation, and mindfulness for over 40 years in studios, as a former studio owner, for uniteforher.org, and for 24 years in academia. As faculty in West Chester University’s Kinesiology Department, she created the curriculum, material, and coursework for 3 academic yoga classes. These classes are the foundation for a 200-hour teacher-training program she created in 2010 for her former studio and for West Chester University. She is an E-RYT 500 with Mental Health First Aid training and research background in Yoga. She offers private therapeutic yoga sessions and small group instruction through her small business, Cage Free Yoga, LLC. Out of the “cage” of studio ownership, Alison loves sharing yoga with others and helping people feel the joy of inspired movement through mindful breathing.
