Thomas Burgoon, M.D.

Dr. Burgoon graduated from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, and in 1990 became certified in Internal Medicine. He is a member of the first graduating class of the four-year course ‘Chinese Acupuncture for Physicians: Scientific Basis and Practice’ taught at the University of Southern California School of Medicine.
He is also a former faculty member of the course. Dr. Burgoon is a founding member and former president of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, the largest professional organization of physicians practicing acupuncture in the United States. Since 1994, he has practiced at Medical Acupuncture in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Joseph J. Wang, DPT, DC, DAIPM, DIBE

Dr. Joseph Wang graduated from LaSalle University with a bachelor’s in biology. He continued his education at the University of Bridgeport to get his Doctorates in Chiropractic Medicine. After, he started and operated two outpatient clinics in the Philadelphia area. He continued his education at Neumann University to attain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy while running two outpatient clinics. He trained at Cooper’s Hospital and Magee Outpatient for his Physical Therapy. He has over 20 years of outpatient experience specializing in neuro-musculoskeletal conditions, injuries, and trauma. He has experience in stroke rehabilitation, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, sports injury, post-surgical rehabilitation, geriatric health, headaches, vertigo, chronic and acute pain to the spine and extremities. He is certified to perform Functional Capacity Evaluations for work related injuries, Manipulation Under Anesthesia for frozen shoulders, hips and backs, Electrodiagnostic Medicine (NCV/EMG), Intraoperative Neuromonitoring, Redcord Suspension Based Therapy, Practitioner of Nutri-Energetics System (www.neshealth.com), Myofascial Release Therapy, Visceral Manipulation, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Dry Needling, Bio-magnetic Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy (QHHT), Reiki Master, Tai Chi Chuan (Yang Style) and QiGong Instructor.

Dr. Wang focuses on total body balancing of the mind, body, and spirit. He believes that the root cause of many diseases, illnesses, and pain stems from a disbalanced lifestyle and body energetics. He works with people to help correct their lifestyle ranging from dietary to daily exercise habits. He does a bio-energetic scan of the body and will prescribe infoceuticles as needed to help the individual to come back into balance. He does hands on energetic manual manipulation of the body to help clear the body of blockages and help to restore vital life energy force (Chi) back to the body. He will be there as your personal life coach to guide you back to a balanced state of being.
